Petition Letter

Petition Letter: To whom it may concern,

I have been going through psychological issues which have hindered my academic performance. Since the begging of September, I have suffered from anxiety and depression due to some family issues and due to this reason, I was unable to keep up with coursework and deadlines. Finding the motivation and energy to get up and attend lectures was hard for me to do without getting burnt out within a day. I chose to drop a course before the deadline in hopes to lower my workload but at the end of the day, it did not help much. Because of said reasons, I am currently at a bad standing in my classes and wish to drop them because this is not my usual academic performance and I strongly believe I can recover and do better. I don??t want these courses to heavily impact my GPA and stain my transcript. I have talked to my professor in my CISC 235 course which is the only course I choose not to drop this semester and have come up with a plan to lead me to success in the class this semester since this course is a core requisite for my courses next semester. I also plan to retake the courses I am dropping this semester in future semesters and achieve a better grade. I have also talked to a counselor and started working in a direction that can help me to be successful in future semesters and recover from my current issues.

From,
Vansh Panwar
