Submit an Academic Petition or Appeal

Petition Letter: To Whom it May Concern,

My name is Sitara Raju and I would have been halfway through my third year at Queen's University. I am currently on academic probation and am not enrolled in any courses at this time.

I submitted a petition in the past for my first year, second semester courses. I was on medication that led to extreme exhaustion, cognitive fogginess, and more and left me unable to complete my course work. The school was extremely understanding and my appeal was granted.

Unfortunately, my medical journey was far from over and I would like to submit another appeal due to my circumstances. I am aware that I am writing this well past the deadline, and I apologize. These last few months have been very hectic for me, as I am struggling with Lyme disease and have to juggle different appointments around the country and even the United States. If you could please grant me the opportunity to make an appeal, I would greatly appreciate it.
