I have reviewed your appeal to change the grade you received in MUSC 203 (Winter 2014) to Credit standing. After careful consideration of the documentation you submitted and the information supplied by the instructor about the circumstances surrounding this course, I have decided to grant your appeal. Your grade in this course will appear on your transcript as CR.

The Faculty Office has investigated the issues you raised with receiving notes on a timely basis, as per your accommodation requirements. We have consulted with the Accessibility Services office and processes have recently been put into place to facilitate better communication so students can receive class notes as quickly as possible. However, as this service relies on volunteers to take the notes, we can€™t always guarantee a speedy turn-around time but the recent changes should bring improvements to the system. I€™m sorry that you did not receive the accommodation you needed in MUSC 203 and I greatly commend your efforts to put your own system in place and find creative ways to cope when your accommodation arrangements could not be fulfilled on time.
