I have carefully considered your appeal to drop STAT 263 (W 2015) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

This is also a lenient decision but I have taken into consideration the fact that this was your first course at Queen€™s and there was not much support available for this course choice. Your letter was also very honest and you seem to now clearly understand the importance of monitoring the drop deadlines.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
