I have carefully considered your appeal to drop ANAT 215 (F 2015), CLST 201 and CHEM 223 (W 2016) past the academic deadline as well as receive Credit standing in CHEM 211, CHEM 212 and CHEM 213 (F 2015). After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

Given the challenges outlined in your appeal letter, I would recommend that you consider receiving some personal counselling to help you with coping strategies when you resume your studies in the fall. Appointments can be made by calling the Student Wellness Centre at 613-533-2506. I would also recommend that you consider making an appointment to see a Learning Strategist through the Learning Commons in Stauffer Library: http://sass.queensu.ca/learningstrategies/services/ You will find this resource particularly helpful with improving your organization and time management skills and building some structure into your study schedule.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
