Dear Ms. Nadeem:

I have carefully considered your appeal to drop DEVS 100, DEVS 220, DEVS 230 and HIST 252 (W 2015) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

To request a tuition fee refund, please complete the form in this link and forward to the Office of the University Registrar. If you have questions about this appeal, please contact their office directly at 613-533-2040: http://www.queensu.ca/registrar/sites/webpublish.queensu.ca.uregwww/files/files/Tuition_Fee_Amendment_Appeal_Form.pdf

Please note that DEVS 100 is a full year course and students cannot earn partial credit for full year courses. Therefore, you must repeat this course again from the beginning to earn credit in it.

Also note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.

I am confident that in the future you will make every effort to inform yourself of the academic regulations concerning deadlines as they are outlined in Important Dates Section on the Arts and Science web page. These deadlines have been established by the Faculty of Arts and Science to ensure a fair and equitable treatment of all students and to facilitate the timely completion of university studies at Queen's.

Yours sincerely,

Sue Blake
