Dear Ms. Justinich:

I have carefully considered your appeal to drop GNDS 432, WRIT 195 (F 2013), FREN P17, HIST 200, HIST 252, WRIT 265 and WRIT 295 (W 2014) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

Upper year students are not required to appeal to apply for a letter of permission to take courses for their third and fourth year of study over the summer term so this request was not taken into consideration as part of your appeal. Please note however, if you wish to take third or fourth year courses on a letter of permission during the fall or winter terms, you must make an appeal. If your academic plan changes and you do wish to take courses on an LOP, you may amend your current appeal to make this request (you will not be charged an additional appeal fee).

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
