Dear Mr. Lee:

I have carefully considered your appeal to drop CHEM 222 (W 2016) past the academic deadline as well as receive Credit standing in BIOL 335, BIOL 369 (F 2015), BCHM 218 and BIOL 343 (W 2016). After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

Given your circumstances, I would also be willing to allow you to receive Credit standing in BIOL 243, CHEM 281 (F 2015) and BIOL 206 (W 2016). If you would like to accept this offer, please email asc.appeals@queensu.ca within 21 days of receiving this decision to confirm and we will make the appropriate changes to your transcript. Note that students are permitted up to a maximum of 36.0 units of AG and CR grades on their transcript (you currently have 24.0 units in CR grades, these additional courses would bring you to 33.0 units in CR grades).

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
