I have carefully considered your request to have your appeal heard after the 21-day timeline for submission, and have decided, based on the circumstances you refer to in your letter of appeal, to waive the timeline.

I have subsequently considered your appeal requesting to drop GNDS 340 (W 2013), GNDS 215, HIST 208 (F 2013) and HIST 348B (W 2014) past the academic deadline. After carefully reviewing your file I have decided to grant your appeal.

I am confident that in the future you will make every effort to inform yourself of the academic regulations concerning deadlines as they are outlined in Upcoming Dates Section on the Arts and Science web page. These deadlines have been established by the Faculty of Arts and Science to ensure a fair and equitable treatment of all students and to facilitate the timely completion of university studies at Queen's.
