As per standard practice, I have reviewed your appeal to the Board of Studies before it is heard. Based on the new information and documentation supplied surrounding the death of your grandfather (April 7) and your great uncle (May 22), it appears that these extenuating circumstances affected your ability to meet the appeal deadline of June 14. Therefore, I have decided to change my original decision and grant your request to waive the appeal deadline. You may now proceed with your planned appeal to waive the Requirement to Withdraw for a Minimum of Three Years.
Please access on the on-line appeals system at: http://www.queensu.ca/artsci/help/academic-appeals/online-appeal-submission After you enter your NetID and password you will now have a new appeal option called €œSubmit a Late Appeal€. Choose this option and follow the steps. Your appeal letter should explain the extenuating circumstances concerning these particular courses, and include any relevant supporting documentation that wasn€™t included with your prior appeal. There will not be a fee for this new appeal, as it will be considered an amendment to your 21-day deadline appeal so the system will skip over the payment step.
