Dear Mr. Partap:

I have carefully considered your appeal to drop CLST 201 and PSYC 370 (W 2016) past the academic deadline as well as receive an extension of your incomplete grade in RELS 131 (FW 2015/16). After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

As agreed upon with your instructor, you will have until January 15, 2017 to submit the outstanding work required for RELS 131. Please correspond with Professor Sen-Chowdhury directly to make any needed arrangements.

I would also like to note that while I am granting your appeal, I do remain very concerned about your current health condition. I strongly urge you to seek counselling throughout the winter term and to monitor your academic progress very carefully. You are registered in a very heavy course load so if you feel that this is more work than you can comfortably handle, you must drop courses as needed within the academic deadline. The last day to drop a winter term course is Friday, March 3.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
