I have reviewed your appeal to change the grades you received in CHEM 112, MATH 121, PHYS 106 (FW 2015/16) and MATH 112 (W 2016) to Credit standing. After careful consideration of the documentation you submitted and the information supplied by the instructor about the circumstances surrounding this course, I have decided to grant your appeal. Your grades in these courses will appear on your transcript as CR.

I would like to note that this is a lenient decision because as a first-year student you have not yet established a pattern of grades for comparison of your performance without the effect of the concussion. Therefore, I accept your assumption that you would have performed significantly better in these courses, had you not suffered a concussion. Please ensure that you continue to monitor your academic progress carefully and drop any courses as needed within the drop deadlines published on the Faculty of Arts and Science website under Important Dates.
