I have carefully considered your appeal to drop STAT 263 (S 2016) past the academic deadline as well as receive an extension of your incomplete grade in PSYC 399 (W 2016). After reviewing your file I have decided the following:
Due to the timeline and severity of your documented extenuating circumstances, I will grant your request to drop STAT 263 past the academic deadline.
I must unfortunately deny your request to receive an extension of your incomplete grade in PSYC 399. This course took place one full year ago and according to your instructor you have completed roughly 20 to 30 of the work required for this course to date. Because you have not completed the majority of work yet for this course, I feel that it is in your best academic interests to drop it late instead and retake it from the beginning when you are ready to do so.
Given your documented circumstances, I would be willing to allow you to drop PSYC 399 (W 2016) and PSYC 397 (S 2016) if you have not yet completed that course as well as receive Credit standing in LAW 201 (S 2016). If you would to accept this offer, please email asc.appeals@queensu.ca within 21 days of receiving this decision and we will make the appropriate changes to your transcript.
