I have carefully considered your appeal to drop DEVS 100B (W 2008), SPAN 101B, WMNS 225 (W 2009), PHIL 201 (F 2010), PHIL 307 (W 2011) and PHIL 361 (F 2013) past the academic deadline as well as receive Credit standing in ECON 110B (W 2008) and WMNS 212 (W 2009). After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.
As a result of this decision your GPA was recalculated and your academic record was reassessed. The Academic Probation ruling from May 2011, the Continuing on Academic Probation from May 2013 and the Required to Withdraw for One Year ruling from May 2014 have all been removed from your transcript because your cumulative GPA from each of those terms is above 1.60.
I would also note that the removal of such a large number of courses so long after the fact is an extraordinary action. The difficulties you have faced in the past are well documented and it is my sincere hope that these challenges are now being managed in such a way that extraordinary measures will not again be needed. I urge you to continue working with personal and academic counsellors and to seek advice at the first sign of academic difficulty. Please ensure that you make every effort to inform yourself of the academic regulations concerning deadlines as they are outlined in Upcoming Dates Section on the Arts and Science web page.
