I have carefully considered your request to have your appeal heard after the 21-day timeline for submission. Based on the circumstances you refer to in your letter of appeal, I have decided to waive the timeline and grant your appeal to drop BIOL 243 (F 2016) past the academic deadline and receive Credit standing in BIOL 201, BIOL 205 and GEOL 200 (F 2016).
You may now proceed with your plans to appeal course from the Summer 2016 term.
Please access on the on-line appeals system at: http://www.queensu.ca/artsci/help/academic-appeals/online-appeal-submission After you enter your NetID and password you will now have a new appeal option called €œSubmit a Late Appeal€. Choose this option and follow the steps. Your appeal letter should explain the extenuating circumstances concerning these particular courses. We can use the supporting documentation on file included with your prior appeal. There will not be a fee for this new appeal, as it will be considered an amendment to your 21-day deadline appeal so the system will skip over the payment step. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Faculty Office for advice or assistance.
