Dear Mr. Cooper:

I have reviewed your request to apply for a retroactive letter of permission to transfer credits for MUSI 267 taken via Athabasca University in Fall 2013. As you know, Regulation 14.1 indicates that, €œThe student must obtain a Letter of Permission from the Arts and Science Faculty Office prior to enrolling in classes at another post-secondary institution€ and a separate, correct and complete application is required for each and every term a course is taken on a Letter of Permission. This type of request would not normally be granted; however, given that the application form was somewhat unclear in terms of what months constituted the summer and fall terms and the School of Computing supports your appeal, I agree to this request.

Note that official transcripts with final grades must be received by the Faculty of Arts and Science Office by 15 May to be considered for graduation at Spring Convocation, or by 15 October for Fall Convocation. Finally, please keep in mind that you must achieve a minimum grade of C on each course taken on a Letter of Permission, unless stated otherwise.
