Student Name: Amanda Cannella
Student Email: 9acc56@queensu.ca
Dear Ms. Cannella:
I have carefully considered your request to have your appeal heard after the 21-day timeline for submission, and have decided, based on the circumstances you refer to in your letter of appeal, to waive the timeline. You may now proceed with your plans to appeal courses from the Fall 2011 to Fall 2015 term. However, before you do so, I would suggest that we meet to discuss your plans first so you are aware of your options and any limitations that appealing this late may pose. Please contact my assistant Katie at f2deans@queensu.ca to arrange a time.
Once you are ready to submit your appeal, you may access on the on-line appeals system at: http://www.queensu.ca/artsci/help/academic-appeals/online-appeal-submission After you enter your NetID and password you will now have a new appeal option called €œSubmit a Late Appeal€. Choose this option and follow the steps. Your appeal letter should explain the extenuating circumstances concerning these particular courses, and include any relevant supporting documentation that wasn€™t included with your prior appeal. There will not be a fee for this new appeal, as it will be considered an amendment to your 21-day deadline appeal so the system will skip over the payment step.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Faculty Office for advice or assistance.
Sincerely,
Johanne Bénard, Ph.D.
