I have carefully considered your request to drop PSYC 203 (W 2017) after the academic deadline. Based on the circumstances you refer to in your letter of appeal, I have decided to grant your appeal.

I am also willing to allow you drop DEVS 220 (W 2017) late. If you would like to accept this offer, please email asc.appeals@queensu.ca within 21 days of receiving this decision and we will make the appropriate changes to your transcript.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.

As you have indicated in your appeal letter, I would encourage you to follow through with your plans to seek help over the summer,to develop coping skills to deal with your mental health issues going forward.
