I have carefully considered your request to have your appeal heard after the 21-day timeline for submission, and have decided, based on the circumstances you refer to in your letter of appeal, to waive the timeline. You may now proceed with your planned appeal to waive the requirement to withdraw for one year.
Please access on the on-line appeals system at: http://www.queensu.ca/artsci/help/academic-appeals/online-appeal-submission After you enter your NetID and password you will now have a new appeal option called €œSubmit a Late Appeal€. Choose this option and follow the steps. Your appeal will require some current documentation from your healthcare provider to confirm that your health condition is now being managed to the point where it will not interfere with your classes.
There will not be a fee for this appeal, as it will be considered an amendment to your 21-day deadline appeal. The system will skip over the payment step.
