Dear Ms. Orecchio:
I have carefully considered your request to have your appeal heard after the one-term timeline for submission, and have decided, based on the circumstances you refer to in your letter of appeal, to waive the timeline. You may now proceed with your planned appeal to drop courses late from the 2015 Fall term.
Please access on the on-line appeals system at: http://www.queensu.ca/artsci/help/academic-appeals/online-appeal-submission After you enter your NetID and password you will now have a new appeal option called €œSubmit a Late Appeal€. Choose this option and follow the steps. Your appeal letter should explain the extenuating circumstances concerning these particular courses. There will not be a fee for this new appeal, as it will be considered an amendment to your one-term deadline appeal so the system will skip over the payment step.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Faculty Office for advice or assistance.
Sincerely,
Johanne Bénard, Ph.D.
