After careful consideration of the documentation you submitted and the information supplied by the instructors about the circumstances surrounding these courses, I have decided to grant your appeal. Your grades in these courses will appear on your transcript as CR.

Please note that CR grades may not necessarily fulfil prerequisites for further courses in these subjects. If a minimum grade or GPA is required in any of these courses as a prerequisite to take further courses, you may need to repeat the course to meet the prerequisite requirements. It is up to the discretion of the instructor and the departmental Undergraduate Chair whether or not a CR grade can be accepted as a suitable substitution.
