Dear Ms. Slaney:
I have reviewed your appeal to drop MUSC 153 (F/W 2016-17) and MUSC 205 (W 2017) past the academic deadline, change the grades you received in MUSC 160 and MUSC 227 (F/W 2016-17) to Aegrotat standing and extend the Incomplete grades in MUSC 221 (F/W 2016-17) and MUSC 188 (W 2017). After careful consideration of the documentation you submitted and the information supplied by the instructors about the circumstances surrounding these courses, I have decided to grant your appeal.
The instructor of MUSC 160 has submitted a replacement grade based on the work you have completed, which will appear on your transcript as B+ along with the notation €œAegrotat: estimated grade€. The instructor of MUSC 227 has submitted a replacement grade based on the work you have completed, which will appear on your transcript as A+ along with the notation €œAegrotat: estimated grade€.
I have also carefully considered your appeal to receive an extension of your incomplete grade in MUSC 221 (F/W 2016-17) and MUSC 188 (W 2017). After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.
You are permitted up to the final day of the Fall term 2017 exam period to complete the course requirements in MUSC 221 and MUSC 188 and it is your responsibility to contact your instructors to make the appropriate arrangements.
Yours sincerely,
Johanne Bénard, Ph.D.
