Dear Ms. Stevenson:

I have reviewed your appeal to change the grades you received in ECON 232 and HIST 214 (W 2017) to Aegrotat standing and extend the Incomplete in ECON 390 (F 2016). After careful consideration of the documentation you submitted and the information supplied by the instructors about the circumstances surrounding these courses, I have decided to grant your appeal.

The instructor of ECON 232 (W 2017) has submitted a replacement grade based on the work you have completed, which will appear on your transcript as C+ along with the notation €œAegrotat: estimated grade€. Professor Keay has also advised that if you wish to complete the final assignment in this course he is willing to support an extension of an Incomplete grade giving you until the end of Fall 2017 term to complete that assignment. The instructor of HIST 214 (W 2017) has submitted a replacement grade based on the work you have completed, which will appear on your transcript as A along with the notation €œAegrotat: estimated grade€.

I have also carefully considered your appeal to receive an extension of your incomplete grade in ECON 390 (F 2016). After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

You are permitted up to the final day of the Fall term 2017 exam period to complete the course requirements in ECON 390 and it is your responsibility to contact Professor Hartwick to make the appropriate arrangements.

Please advise if you wish to accept the C+ grade in ECON 232 or if you prefer to complete the term paper that is outstanding. If you wish to complete that paper, it is your responsibility to contact Professor Keay to make the appropriate arrangements.

Yours sincerely,

Johanne Bénard, Ph.D.
