Associate Dean: Johanne Benard, Ph.D.
Student Name: Jonathan Karr
Student Email: 15jek5@queensu.ca

Course: SOCY 275
Term: Fall
Year: 2017
Category: Drop a course after the academic deadline

Dear Jonathan:

Your appeal requesting to drop SOCY 275 (Fall 2017) past the academic deadline has been granted on behalf of the Associate Dean (Studies). Please check SOLUS in a week€™s time to ensure this change has been made ok.

Please remember to drop any extra winter term classes you are still registered in by January 19 to avoid a tuition charge. The final date to drop a winter term class is Friday, March 2. If you feel that your load is still too heavy, you must ensure that you drop any courses as needed by this date.

Note that any change in academic registration (e.g. dropping courses) may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding such as OSAP, scholarships, or bursaries. Please consult with the Student Awards Office (Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall) to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load. A change in academic registration may also affect a student€™s enrollment status as a full or part-time student, eligibility for student visas, or benefits through external agencies.

Best regards,

Haley
