I have carefully considered your request to have your appeal heard after the 21-day or one term deadline for submission, and have decided, based on the circumstances you refer to in your letter of appeal, to waive the timeline. You may now proceed with your planned appeal.

I would like to note that this is a lenient decision and your next planned appeal to address courses from the 2014-2015 academic year will need documentation that supports the timeline, severity and impact of your circumstances during that timeframe.

Please access on the on-line appeals system at: http://www.queensu.ca/artsci/help/academic-appeals/online-appeal-submission After you enter your NetID and password you will now have a new appeal option called €œSubmit a Late Appeal€. Choose this option and follow the steps. Your appeal letter should explain the extenuating circumstances concerning these particular courses, and include any relevant supporting documentation that wasn€™t included with your prior appeal. There will not be a fee for this new appeal, as it will be considered an amendment to your 21-day or one term deadline appeal so the system will skip over the payment step.
