I have carefully considered your appeal to drop ENGL 259 and ENGL 290 (F 2017) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.


Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.

I would like to note that this is a lenient decision and need to warn you that the appeals process is not meant to be used to manage a chronic condition. Students should evaluate the impact of their health on their studies prior to week 8 of the Fall and Winter terms and drop courses as needed.
