Student Name: Olivia Mew
Student Email: 12okm@queensu.ca
Dear Ms. Mew:
I have reviewed your request to complete 9.0 units on a Letter of Permission for your BSc (Honours) degree with a specialized concentration in Kinesiology at Athabasca University. As you know, Regulation 14.4 indicates that €œnormally the last two years of the Honours degree are taken in the Faculty of Arts and Science at Queen€™s.€ However, given the circumstances explained in your letter of appeal, and the support of the School of Kinesiology and Health Studies, I agree to this request. Please consult with your department regularly to ensure that the courses you select will properly fulfill the Queen€™s requirements for your degree.
You must now apply for a Letter of Permission through the Faculty of Arts and Science Office. Please allow up to 21 days to receive a response.
Note that official transcripts with final grades must be received by the Faculty of Arts and Science Office upon completion of the courses. Please keep in mind that you must achieve a minimum grade of C on each course taken on a Letter of Permission, unless stated otherwise.
Finally, please be advised that a student can complete a maximum of 54.0 transfer units towards their BSc Honours degree (see Academic Regulation 16.1.3).
Congratulations on qualifying for the Pan American Games We are proud to have you represent Canada
Yours sincerely,
Jill Atkinson, Ph.D.
