I have carefully considered your appeal to drop GNDS 212, MUTH 110 (F 2017), CLST 103, DRAM 220, DRAM 241, GNDS 215 (W 2018) and DRAM 246 (FW 2017/18) past the academic deadline and receive Credit standing in DRAM 240 (F 2017) and DRAM 200 (FW 2017/18). After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request. Your grades in DRAM 240 and DRAM 200 will appear on your transcript as CR.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.

I have granted this appeal based on the severity of your extenuating circumstances and the extent of your anxiety. But I need to warn you that the appeals process is not meant to be used to manage ongoing problems. The Appeal process is designed for students who encounter problems, or whose problems become acute, after the drop deadline. Instead, I would encourage you to meet regularly with your Counsellor to manage your condition and meet with an Academic Advisor during week 7 to realistically evaluate your progress in your courses and determine the impact of your health on your studies to ensure you drop courses if necessary by week 8.
