I have carefully considered your appeal to drop SOCY 389 and SOCY 363 (W 2018) past the academic deadline. I will grant you a late drop of SOCY 389 but since you successfully completed and passed SOCY 363 (with a final grade of D+), I cannot drop that course late (see Appeal Regulation 3.3.2 in the Faculty of Arts & Science Calendar).
Based on the information and documentation presented in your appeal, I am also willing to allow you to drop SOCY 211 past the academic deadline as well. If you would like to accept this offer, please email asc.appeals@queensu.ca within 21 days of receiving this letter and we will make the appropriate changes to your transcript.
Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding.
