Dear Mr. Davis:

I have carefully considered your appeal to drop MATH 126 (FW 2017/18) past the academic deadline and receive Credit standing in POLS 110 (FW 2017/18). After reviewing your file I have decided the following:

1. Due to your documented extenuating circumstances from the 2018 winter term, I will grant your request to drop MATH 126 late.

2. I must unfortunately deny your request to receive Credit standing in POLS 110. It appears that your low grade in this course is due to missing the research paper worth 45 of your winter term grade in the course. There is no clear indication as to why you were not able to submit this paper or how your condition directly impacted your ability to submit this work. Without such information, I cannot justify changing a final grade on a transcript.

If you wish to appeal the Associate Dean€™s decision to the Board of Studies, you must submit an appeal to the Board of Studies within 21 days of the date this decision was sent.
