I have carefully considered your appeal to drop PSYC 100 (S 2016) past the academic deadline as well as receive credit standing in ITLN P10 (F 2015) and POLS 110 (FW 2015-16). After reviewing your file I have decided the following:
1. I will grant your request to receive credit standing in ITLN P10 and POLS 110. Your grades in these courses will appear as CR on your transcript.
2. I will deny your request to drop PSYC 100 past the academic deadline. Students are expected to realistically appraise their progress in their courses by determining whether or not they have kept up with the readings and handed in assignments on time. Based on the lack of sufficient evidence to show that you were unable to make this determination by the drop deadline during Summer term 2016, I cannot justify altering your transcript after the fact.
If you wish to appeal the Associate Dean€™s decision to the Board of Studies, you must submit an appeal to the Board of Studies within 21 days of the date this decision was sent.
