Dear Mr. Elms:

I have carefully considered your appeal to drop KNPE 355 (F 2014) past the academic deadline as well as your request to receive Aegrotat standing in GPHY 314 and PSYC 251 (F 2014). After reviewing your file I have decided the following:

I will grant your request to drop KNPE 355 past the academic deadline and receive Aegrotat standing in GPHY 314. Your grade in this course will appear on your transcript as A- along with the notation €œAegrotat: Estimated Grade€.

Unfortunately, I must deny your request for Aegrotat standing in PSYC 251 because you have not completed enough work for this course to be eligible for an AG grade. However, I would be willing to allow you to drop this course past the academic deadline or you may defer the exam until next term. If you wish to choose either of these options, please email asc.appeals@queensu.ca within 21 days of receiving this decision letter to confirm your decision. Once we have heard from you we will make the appropriate arrangements and /or changes to your transcript.
