I have reviewed your appeal to receive Credit standing in ANAT 316 (W 2018) as well as change the grades you received in KNPE 227 and KNPE 254 (W 2018) to Aegrotat standing. After careful consideration of the documentation you submitted and the information supplied by the instructors about the circumstances surrounding these courses, I have decided to grant your request for Credit standing in ANAT 316 and Aegrotat standing in KNPE 227. I will unfortunately have to deny your request for Aegrotat standing in KNPE 254 since you did not complete 60 of the course work. I am however willing to allow you to drop KNPE 254 past the academic deadline. If you would like to accept this offer, please email asc.appeals@queensu.ca within 21 days of receiving this letter and we will make the appropriate changes to your transcript.

The instructor of KNPE 227 (W 2018) has submitted a replacement grade based on the work you have completed, which will appear on your transcript as a C- along with the notation €œAegrotat: estimated grade€. Your grade in ANAT 316 (W 2018) will appear on your transcript as CR.

I am confident that in the future you will make every effort to inform yourself of the academic regulations concerning deadlines as they are outlined in Important Dates Section on the Arts and Science web page. These deadlines have been established by the Faculty of Arts and Science to ensure a fair and equitable treatment of all students and to facilitate the timely completion of university studies at Queen's.
