I have carefully considered your appeal to add HIST 122 (FW 2018-19) and ARTF 275 (F 2018) after the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to deny your request.
It is very late to add Fall term courses and due to your dangerously low GPA and health condition, adding courses at this late date may in fact negatively impact your GPA which may lead to substantial repercussions when your transcript is next assessed in May.
Although it is too late to add courses for the Fall term, you can add courses for the Winter term up until January 18, 2019. Given your health issues, I also recommend that you contact Angel Varrette at Queen€™s Student Accessibility Services (QSAS) office for support and to receive possible accommodations in your Winter term courses. She can be reached at qsas.intake@queensu.ca or 613-533-6000 ext. 77628.
If you wish to appeal the Associate Dean€™s decision to the Board of Studies, you must submit an appeal to the Board of Studies within 21 days of the date this decision was sent.
