I have carefully considered your appeal to drop ECON 112 (F 2017) and CLST 203 (W 2018) past the academic deadline and receive Credit standing in GPHY 102, GPHY 240 and GPHY 247 (W 2018). After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request. Your grades in GPHY 102, GPHY 240 and GPHY 247 will appear on your transcript as CR.

I have granted this appeal based on the severity of your extenuating circumstances. However, I need to warn you that the appeal process is not meant to be used to manage ongoing problems. It is designed for students who encounter unexpected extenuating circumstances during the term and/or whose problems become acute after the drop deadline. I would encourage you to register with QSAS if your health issues persist and work with an Academic Advisor to manage your academics. This could include taking a lighter course load and would include evaluating the impact of your health on your studies prior to week 8 of term.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
