I have carefully considered your appeal to drop HIST 296 (F 2018) late and to add HIST 305 (FW 2018/19) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file I have decided to deny your request.
While I understand that these two courses are part of a hybrid course and students registered in HIST 296 and HIST 305 are in the same class for the Fall term, HIST 305 is a seminar course for students who are registered in either the History Major or History Medial. You did not have had access to HIST 305 upon registration for the Fall term since you are not in a History Honours program and other non-History students would also not have had access to HIST 305. It is for that reason that I cannot in good faith allow you to register late in this seminar course.
If you wish to appeal the Associate Dean€™s decision to the Board of Studies, you must submit an appeal to the Board of Studies within 21 days of the date this decision was sent.
