I have reviewed your appeal to change the grade you received in DEVS 100 (Summer 2018) to Credit standing. After careful consideration of the documentation you submitted and the information supplied by the instructor, I have decided to grant your appeal.

Your grade in this course will appear on your transcript as CR.

I would like to note that this is a lenient decision and normally professional obligations are not considered extenuating in nature. Going forward, I would suggest that you consider not registering for a summer term course during golf season as it is clearly a challenge to keep up with the course work during that term. In the future please watch the drop date deadlines. During the academic year, the drop deadline date is set at week 8 of the term. During the summer term, the drop date comes much quicker, depending on the session of the course, so you must closely monitor those dates and your progress to ensure you drop a course if you have fallen behind in the course work.
