I have carefully considered your appeal to drop PSYC 370 and RELS 162 (F 2018) and receive an extension of your incomplete grade in ENSC 201 (W 2017). After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

I understand that we have already been advised that your grade in ENSC 201 will change to a B- and that approval of this late grade change is required. Dr. Winn will now be able to proceed and submit a Change of Grade form related to this course.

I strongly encourage you to meet with an advisor during week 7 of the term and review your progress in your courses. If you have fallen behind in your course work, you should consider dropping courses by the week 8 drop deadline. That date is designed to provide students with the opportunity to drop courses if extenuating circumstances are affecting their coursework. The appeals process is not designed to manage ongoing health or life conditions but is meant to assist students who experience extenuating circumstances after the drop deadline date.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
