I have carefully considered your appeal to drop CHEM 222 (W 2018) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

I am sorry that you were unable to complete this course within the extended time allotted and believe that your instructor has given you sound advice to repeat the course when you are feeling well enough to do so. I encourage you to meet with QSAS as you work towards improved health. In the future you should make every effort to assess your health during week 7 of the term and if your health has prevented you from keeping up with the course requirements, you should drop the course by week 8 of the term. The appeals process is not meant to manage an ongoing health condition.
