I have carefully considered your appeal to drop ANAT 316 and KNPE 254 (W 2018) past the academic deadline and receive Credit standing in HLTH 252, KNPE 227 and KNPE 255 (W 2018). After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request. Your grades in HLTH 252, KNPE 227 and KNPE 255 will appear on your transcript as CR.

I have granted this appeal based on the severity of your extenuating circumstances but I need to warn you that the appeals process is not meant to be used to manage ongoing circumstances. The Appeal process is designed for students who encounter problems, or whose problems become acute, after the drop deadline. Instead, I would encourage you to get appropriate support to assist you in the pursuit of academic success going forward, which may include registering with QSAS. I strongly suggest that you pause and evaluate the impact of your health on your studies prior to week 8 of term and before the drop date.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
