I am sorry to hear that you have been dealing with some factors that have had a negative impact on your studies during the 2016/17 academic year. After reviewing your appeal to request credit standing in LAW 201 (F 2016), POLS 280 (F 2016), POLS 243 (F 2018) and POLS 250B (W 2017), I have decided to grant your request. Your grades in LAW 201, POLS 280, POLS 243 and POLS 250B will appear on your transcript as CR.

I have granted this appeal based on your extenuating circumstances during the 2016/17 academic year. However, I need to warn you that the appeals process is not meant to be used to manage ongoing problems. The Appeal process is designed for students who encounter problems, or whose problems become acute, after the drop deadline. Instead, I would encourage you to continue to work with your medical professionals and an Academic Advisor to manage your academics. This could include taking a lighter course load and as well as evaluating the impact of your health on your studies prior to week 8 of term.
