I appreciate your explanation regarding the assessment you have been undergoing recently and understand that the health challenges you had last term made it difficult for you to focus on such a memory based course. In light of the extenuating circumstances you have outlined, as well as your timely appeal, I have decided to grant your request to drop KNPE 125 (W 2019) past the academic deadline.

I strongly suggest that going forward you consider registering with Queen€™s Student Accessibility Services (QSAS) if you require accommodations in your courses. With their assistance, you should receive the appropriate accommodations to help lead you to successful outcomes in your courses. I also encourage you to ensure you are aware of the drop deadline dates in the future so that, should you wish to drop a course, you can do so without going through this appeal process.
