I have carefully considered your appeal to drop MATH 121 (S 2018) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

I would like to note that I have exercised some leniency in this decision, acknowledging the impact your health had on your course leading up to the diagnosis of mononucleosis. Going forward however, you should pause to reflect on your progress prior to the drop date and assess whether you are actively engaged in your course(s) and completing your readings and assignments on time. If not, you should drop any courses in which you have fallen behind in prior to the drop date.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
