I was sorry to have read in your letter of appeal the very difficult circumstances your family faced prior to your arrival at Queen€™s and during the Fall term 2018. No doubt that impacted your studies so I have decided to grant your appeal to drop ECON 212 (F 2018) past the academic deadline based on those circumstances. Joshua, you successfully dropped MATH 121 by the academic drop deadline date, so there is no academic penalty regarding that course.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
