I was sorry to read that you have been struggling in CISC 101 (W 2019) and after carefully considering your appeal to drop this course past the academic deadline, I have decided to grant your request.

I have granted this appeal based on your extenuating circumstances and am hoping this is a learning experience for you Samantha to evaluate the impact of your health on your studies during week 7 of the term. If you have fallen behind in a course or find the material too difficult, you should drop the course by week 8 of term. The drop deadlines, as they have been outlined in the €œImportant Dates€ section on the Arts and Science web page, have been established by the Faculty of Arts and Science to ensure a fair and equitable treatment of all students. I encourage you to continue reaching out to your QSAS Advisor to help you manage your academics along with your health related challenges.
