I have reviewed your appeal to change the grade you received in PSYC 100 (FW 2018/19) to Credit standing. After careful consideration of the circumstances outlined and the documentation you submitted, as well as the information supplied by the instructor about your academic performance in this course, I have decided to grant your appeal.

Your grade in PSYC 100 will appear on your transcript as CR.

This is a lenient decision Aimee since you note in your letter that you were struggling in this course prior to the event which took place in November. You had ample time to carefully evaluate the impact your circumstance was having on your studies since the last date to drop a full year course was March 1st, 2019. Going forward, I suggest that you evaluate the impact of your health on your studies prior to week 8 of term and to drop courses if necessary at that time.

I wish you continued success with the management of your circumstances and hope that resuming your studies on main campus in the Fall term will be a positive experience for you.
