I am sorry to have read that you experienced a medical issue with your hand during the Winter term exam period. I have reviewed your appeal to change the grade you received in STAT 263 (W 2019) to Credit standing and after careful consideration of the documentation you submitted and the input we have received from your instructor, I have decided to grant your appeal. Your grade in this course will appear on your transcript as CR.

I would like to note that I have exercised some leniency in this decision, acknowledging that the consecutive exams may have exacerbated the pain in your writing hand. However, going forward, I strongly suggest that you follow through with your plan to register with QSAS if your condition is chronic so that accommodations can be implemented in your future courses.
