I was sad to have read in your letter of appeal that your father passed away and I am very sorry for your loss. No doubt that has been difficult for you and your family and I will certainly grant your appeal to drop PSYC 100 (FW 2018/2019) past the academic deadline based on that circumstance.

I encourage you to reach out to our Student Wellness Services office Abigail if you need to discuss this difficult loss with someone who can offer you the support you may require. Their offices are located in Mitchell Hall.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
