Dear Miranda Stavrides:
I have reviewed your appeal to drop ANAT 100, GLPH 271 and PHAR 100 (F 2019) past the academic deadline based on the circumstances you have outlined and will grant your appeal due to those challenges.
In the future, I encourage you to make your decision to drop courses prior to that last drop date. As you can see, sometimes circumstances prevent you from meeting that final drop date and it is best to avoid that last minute decision.
Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
I wish you well in your recovery.
Yours sincerely,
Jenn Stephenson, Ph.D.
