I was sad to have read in your letter of appeal that your father passed away and I am very sorry for your loss. No doubt that has been difficult for you and your family and I will certainly grant your appeal to drop PHIL 381 (F 2019) past the academic deadline based on that circumstance.

I encourage you to continue to meet with your support network and suggest you follow through with your plan to reach out to other professionals as needed. Please note that our Student Wellness Services office is located in Mitchell Hall and assistance and support is available free of charge to our students.
